Growing Protocol


January
Fertilization: Apply a basal dose of 60 kg of nitrogen, 30 kg of phosphorus, and 30 kg of potassium per hectare before land preparation.
Land preparation: Plow and harrow the land to create a fine seedbed. Level the soil to ensure uniform water distribution during the growing season.
Seedling preparation: Soak the rice seeds in clean water for 24 hours before sowing. After soaking, dry the seeds and sow them in a nursery bed or tray filled with soil or a growing medium.
Weed control: Remove weeds from the nursery bed or tray regularly.
Late January - Early February
Transplanting: Transplant the seedlings to the main field when they are around 20-25 days old. Space the seedlings at 20 cm x 20 cm with 3 to 4 seedlings per hill.
Fertilization: Apply 30 kg of nitrogen per hectare one week after transplanting.
Water management: Maintain a shallow water level of 2-3 cm in the rice field and irrigate the field regularly.
Pest and disease control: Monitor the field regularly for pests and diseases and apply appropriate control measures when necessary.
Mid-February
Fertilization: Apply 30 kg of nitrogen per hectare two weeks after the first application.
Weed control: Remove weeds from the field regularly.
Pest and disease control: Continue to monitor the field regularly for pests and diseases and apply appropriate control measures when necessary.
Late February

Apply 30 kg of nitrogen per hectare three weeks after the second application.
